Project Overview: Yankee Pie Apizza approached AlfaSolutions with a vision to enhance their customer experience by developing a suite of mobile applications and an admin panel to manage multiple branches. The project included apps for customers, drivers, and an admin panel, all designed to streamline the ordering and delivery process for Yankee Pie Apizza's renowned New Haven Style Pizza.
Features:
Customer App: The customer app allows users to conveniently order Yankee Pie Apizza from anywhere using their Android devices. Customers can choose from a variety of New Haven Style Pizzas or build their own custom pizza. The app also features a "Push for Pizza" button for easy reordering, order tracking from receipt to delivery or pickup, and multiple payment options including cash, credit card, and debit card.
Driver App: The driver app enables Yankee Pie Apizza's delivery drivers to efficiently manage and fulfill orders. Drivers can track their deliveries and navigate to customer locations using GPS. The app also provides real-time notifications of new orders and updates on order status.
Admin Panel: The admin panel allows Yankee Pie Apizza to manage their multiple branches, menu items, and orders. It provides insights into sales data and customer preferences, enabling better decision-making and operational efficiency.
Tech Stack:
Flutter & Dart: We used Flutter, Google's UI toolkit for building natively compiled applications for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. Dart, the programming language used with Flutter, allowed us to create fast, responsive, and beautiful user interfaces for the Yankee Pie Apizza apps.
Laravel PHP: For the backend development, we leveraged Laravel, a PHP framework known for its elegant syntax and powerful features. Laravel enabled us to create a robust and scalable backend system to support the apps' functionalities.
